Install
$ dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-codex-connect@alphaPlugin Overview & Capabilities
AI-assisted organization based on the public repository snapshot. The content must be grounded in source evidence and does not replace compatibility or security verification.
Key Capabilities
- ChatGPT OAuth authentication managed directly within the Harness web settings UI
- OpenAI Codex model provider integration supporting standard streaming and tool calling
- Conversation-scoped Fast Mode toggle and remaining weekly quota indicator in Composer
- Optional GPT Image generation with in-conversation preview and prompt inspection
- Optional web search integration and SSRF-protected remote view_image vision tool
- Diagnostic CLI commands including doctor and status checks with secret-free output
Useful For
- Using ChatGPT subscription-backed Codex models directly within DeepSeek Harness agents
- Generating and modifying images via natural language GPT Image prompts within Harness workflows
- Inspecting real-time weekly quota consumption and toggling Fast Mode per conversation
Who It Fits
- DeepSeek Harness users with an active ChatGPT subscription
- Developers seeking OpenAI Codex model access without separate OpenAI Platform API keys
- AI workflow builders needing integrated image generation and vision tools in DSH
Documented Limitations
- Requires Node.js ^22.19.0 or >=24.0.0 and compatible DSH plugin API packages (0.1.1-rc.2)
- Quotas, model availability, and plan eligibility are subject to OpenAI ChatGPT subscription terms
- The Codex endpoint does not enforce server-side max_output_tokens limits
- Loopback-only OAuth by default; remote browser origins require explicit allowlisting
DSH Compatibility
Version-specific runtime evidence collected by DSH Plugin. A missing result means we have not tested that combination yet.
Security Signals
Objective signals discovered from package metadata and source inspection. These are not a guarantee that a plugin is safe.
