$ dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-config-manager@latestPlugin Overview & Capabilities
AI-assisted organization based on the public repository snapshot. The content must be grounded in source evidence and does not replace compatibility or security verification.
Key Capabilities
- Exports DSH configuration to ZIP archives with manifests and SHA-256 checksums
- Previews imports before writes, supports conflict choices, path remapping, automatic pre-import snapshots, and rollback
- Backs up settings, model providers, plugins, MCP servers, skills, agent presets, workspaces, and global agent instructions
- Supports optional encrypted backups and omits secret values from default backups
- Synchronizes portable configuration via private Git repositories or WebDAV
- Provides a configuration marketplace browser and installation flow using the import pipeline
- Includes profiles for saving and switching between configurations
- Offers a separately installed offline CLI for listing/restoring snapshots and reinstalling DSH
Useful For
- Move a DSH setup to a new computer
- Create a portable backup before changing configuration
- Restore a prior configuration after an unsuccessful import
- Synchronize portable DSH configuration between machines
- Review and install shared configurations with an import preview
- Recover snapshots when the DSH GUI cannot start
Who It Fits
- DeepSeek Harness users migrating between machines
- Users who need backup and rollback for DSH configuration
- Teams or individuals maintaining multiple DSH setups
- Users seeking Git- or WebDAV-based configuration synchronization
Documented Limitations
- Installing or updating plugins and MCP servers takes effect after restarting DSH
- Some browser-held UI state, such as task-board data and panel widths, is not migrated
- History and session migration is disabled by default and v1 copies files only
- Per-project AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md files are not migrated
- Lost passwords cannot decrypt encrypted backup secrets
- Offline snapshot restore may skip entries it cannot restore; credential values are not automatically written
