AI-assisted organization based on the public repository snapshot. The content must be grounded in source evidence and does not replace compatibility or security verification.
Key Capabilities
- Provides 16 native kimi_webbridge_* browser tools.
- Navigates pages, lists and finds tabs, and manages browser tab groups.
- Reads pages through accessibility-tree snapshots and takes screenshots.
- Clicks elements, fills editable fields, uploads files, and saves pages as PDFs.
- Runs page JavaScript, captures network requests, and exposes an advanced CDP passthrough.
- Checks local daemon/extension status and can expose a daemon-start tool.
- Supports configuration for daemon URL, session name, timeouts, text limits, and disabling selected tools.
Useful For
- Automating tasks in an already authenticated local browser session.
- Browsing and summarizing web pages with snapshots and screenshots.
- Completing supported web forms and uploading local files through the browser.
- Inspecting page behavior or network requests during browser-based tasks.
- Saving browser pages to PDF from a DeepSeek Harness workflow.
Who It Fits
- DeepSeek Harness users who use Kimi WebBridge locally.
- Agents and workflows that need browser interaction using the user’s existing sessions.
- Developers who need configurable browser tools in a Cordis-based DSH profile.
Documented Limitations
- Requires Node.js 18 or later, a local Kimi WebBridge daemon, and its browser extension.
- The documented tested setup is DSH 0.1.0-rc.7, Kimi WebBridge daemon 1.11.6, extension 1.11.5, and Windows; macOS/Linux paths are not verified.
- Click and fill may be ignored by sites that enforce trusted browser events, including some banking portals and captchas.
- Snapshot, click, fill, and evaluate operate only on the top frame; cross-origin iframes are out of scope.
- Sessions are per DSH profile rather than per agent, so subagents share a tab group.
- CDP access is limited to capabilities exposed by the browser extension.
DSH Compatibility
Version-specific runtime evidence collected by DSH Plugin. A missing result means we have not tested that combination yet.
