dsh-plugin-message-edit enables true conversational rewinding and branching in DeepSeek Harness. When editing an earlier prompt, the plugin branches the session from that turn using prior history as context. It provides inline version counters (‹ n/m ›), an interactive visual tree tab to navigate conversational branches, layout presets matching ChatGPT/Claude/DeepSeek UI patterns, and client-side caching for zero-latency branch switching.
