Documented Limitations
- Rewind points are limited to completed turn boundaries; an in-progress turn cannot be rewound.
- Forking and restoring can take longer for long conversations because the host replays prefix event logs.
- Before a background fork is ready, messages after the anchor may remain visible briefly.
- Per-point restore is synchronous and can wait for fork completion on long conversations.
- Workspace files are rolled back only after sending a new prompt from a rewind state, asynchronously rather than in strict sync with the first reply.
- The documented snapshot location uses a Windows USERPROFILE path.
