memory-eternal
Persistent memory vault and knowledge graph for DeepSeek Harness with automatic distillation, human-in-the-loop review, and CJK retrieval.
Install
$ dsh plugin --profile desktop add memory-eternalPlugin Overview & Capabilities
AI-assisted organization based on the public repository snapshot. The content must be grounded in source evidence and does not replace compatibility or security verification.
Key Capabilities
- Automatic post-turn conversation distillation and capture into local Markdown/SQLite vault
- Agent tool `memory_recall` for on-demand context retrieval
- CJK-aware tokenization and search with lexical and semantic deduplication
- Visual knowledge vault with interactive knowledge graph and usage metrics
- Physical store segregation (cards vs. quarantine) with dedicated audit center for human review
- Multi-agent support including CLI, MCP stdio server, and companion hooks for Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor
- Self-managed background web service with watchdog, port drift auto-healing, and takeover mutual exclusion
Useful For
- Cross-session persistent context retention and memory recall for DeepSeek Harness agents
- Organizing and visualizing project knowledge across sessions in a local Markdown vault
- Filtering out conversational noise and verifying distilled insights before committing them to persistent memory
- Sharing a unified knowledge store across DeepSeek Harness, Claude Code, and Codex/Cursor environments
Who It Fits
- DeepSeek Harness desktop and web users requiring long-term conversational memory
- Developers seeking zero-dependency local second-brain storage for AI assistants
- Teams needing audited, reproducible knowledge cards without cloud lock-in
Documented Limitations
- Desktop profile guarantees support specifically for official DeepSeek Harness desktop; legacy dsh-desktop shell is deprecated
- Watchdog background processes do not automatically terminate upon config changes and require explicit stop/restart commands
- Multiple vault profiles require manual configuration in config files as UI form editing is not yet implemented
- Synchronous DatabaseSync operations bypass PRAGMA busy_timeout to prevent event loop blocking, relying instead on application-level retries
DSH Compatibility
